A little about me
My name is Salil Gupta, and I was born and raised in India, where my passion for medicine and helping others took root. Encouraged by my parents’ expectations, I became an OB/Gyn doctor, witnessing firsthand the devastating impact of high maternal mortality rates. In 1983, I moved to the U.S., where I retrained as a pediatrician and neonatologist, dedicating my career to improving care for mothers and critically ill infants. I played a key role in developing NICUs in Illinois and Florida, reducing newborn mortality rates and earning recognition from state health departments.
Beyond medicine, my wife, Dr. Vandana Gupta, and I have raised four children and cherish our six grandchildren. Now at 68, I remain active in philanthropy, particularly with Rotary International and local nonprofits. Over the years, I have counseled thousands of families, mentored medical students, and supported homeless services.
A lifelong learner, I have spent decades exploring profound questions about life, fulfillment, and purpose. My experiences in medicine and philanthropy have shaped my approach to coaching, helping individuals achieve healthy outcomes in emotional, financial, and social well-being. As I move forward, I am eager to share my insights and continue making a difference in people’s lives.
